ROBERTA BELLOWS

Peer Facilitator

Hailing from Halfway Point in the Bay of Islands, NL, Roberta currently resides in beautiful Pasadena, NL. She is a strong Mi’kmaq woman with a genuine heart and a kind soul. Pouring her heart into everything that she does, her spirit and gentle demeanor is felt by all those around her. A retired Post Master, Roberta has dedicated a large amount of her time over the past several years volunteering in the Indigenous community. Roberta joined the Empowering Indigenous Women for Stronger Communities Project because of her love and passion for people and culture. Her talent to see the bigger picture is one of her strongest qualities. As a Peer Facilitator, she speaks out for women who have faced violence and shares her life experiences as a source of strength. She is a breath of fresh air, and we are honored to have her as a part of our team.
